It’s the Cannes Film Festival 2016. Anticipation for upcoming movies is so enormous that films that haven’t even been finished are in town showing off clips.
Trolls, from Dreamworks Animation, is no different.
Last week co-stars Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick arrived by boat for some reason amongst a catwalk of models with troll haircuts. They were en route to showing off some footage of their work-in-progress and talk up the project. While they were there the pair of the them appeared on stage in front of the audience at the end of the screening to sing one of the songs from the film, a cover of Cyndi Lauper’s 80s hit “True Colors”.
The footage below of them singing also includes one of the scenes from the movie, as well as the directors Mike Mitchell and Walt Dohrn reacting to the curious fashion parade.
Timberlake is working on producing the soundtrack as well as appearing in the film.
The film is not due out in the UK until 21st October.
